Just returned from the Tax Day Tea Party in Washington (with a losing stop at A.C.). I spent most of my day in D.C on April 15 at the National Mall and the Washington Monument "celebrating" Tax Day. The organizers of the rally estimated the crowd to be around 25 - 30,000. I did not see any fights or disruptions. Quite the contrary - any disagreements between opposing sides were simply and quietly debated. Granted there were not too many who opposed the Tea Partiers.
But I did here a nasty violent chant during the rally. I must admit I am guilty.
I yelled numerous times during the day:
"Repeal The Bill" at the top of my lungs. I am sorry next time I'll try to be more passive.....Jim Fitz 4/19/2009
