Help Me Out With This

Lets have a stimulus bill that cost $862 billion that will keep unemployment under 8% and will create 3 million jobs. The deficit ballooned. Well lets sign a bill called paygo in which Congress will have to pay for any spending bill they enact.

The stimulus fails. Lets have another stimulus bill that will cost, as of now, another 10 - $15 billion dollars. Oh we have to extend unemployment benefits for those out of work etc. That will cost the taxpayers, yes, another $10 billion.

Hold on there? What about paygo? Well one guy stands up and says I'm not against this but we have to find funding because of paygo. But only a few (in his party)stood up for this guy!

Did anyone say hypocrites? Members of both parties take principled stands when it helps with elections only! Some people might say that's unfair. Well help me out with this!.... posted by Jim Fitz 03/02/2010
