Blame Game

Ah, the era of George Bush has come and gone. Now comes the era of, as Karl Rove calls it : Blame It On Bush (BIOB).

Bush was the guy that passed TARP. The same TARP that Senator Obama voted for it. The same TARP program that this Administration is using as a slush fund for another stimulus bill, oops I mean jobs bill. Money paid back to the government from banks under this program was suppose to be for bringing the deficit down. That Bush guy!

Budget deficits as far as the eyes can see. Bush, and he did spend like a drunken sailor, left behind a deficit of $418 billion. Oh did we mention this spending on George Bush's watch was passed by the Democratic controlled congress - Is this President pointing fingers at the majority party? Pres. Obama's current budget is running a $1.4 trillion deficit and 2011 will reach $1.56 trillion! The Federal Government owned Freddie & Fannie debt is not calculated in the budget.

The President rushed that $862 billion stimulus bill through Congress because it would keep unemployment at 8% or less. How is that working out. Boy, that Bush guy!


As this administration whines on and on about George Bush one has to wonder what they thought governing was all about. Stop pointing fingers and lead the country.
